Falco Construction’s core business is the design, installation and maintenance of assets for the electrical, water and telecoms sectors. The organisation has developed rapidly to now work directly for major blue-chip clients throughout the South East, delivering multi-discipline, complex programmes of work to a very high standard with projects ranging from £35k to £3 million in value.
Handmade Marketing were approached by Falco Construction in 2014 to support them with a full range of corporate communications including developing their new company branding.
We now provide Falco Construction with a number of marketing services to help raise the company’s profile within the utilities maintenance sector including web development, e-newsletters, advert design and social media campaigns.
The preparation and distribution of Falco’s periodic e-newsletters initially involved Handmade Marketing building an e-newsletter distribution list of company contacts and harvesting email contacts from key members of staff. This list is updated with each issue as we obtain and merge further contacts into their newsletter database.
We created and designed the approved email template, then each issue research and prepare all newsletter content including a range of commercial stories and some more company orientated features. With each e-newsletter we also design and develop a competition to improve open rates. The competitions include dynamic content and Falco’s last edition featured an online golf game that proved extremely popular with the e-newsletter recipients.
Handmade Marketing have designed and developed all content for Falco Construction’s website and produced a number of display adverts for the company also.
The newsletter boasts an average open rate of 20.9% and above average click rate with the last edition which included the online golf game. Now at issue 5, the 10-year anniversary newsletter is currently on hold due to Coronavirus.
Handmade Marketing also assist Falco with social media support including a very successful social media campaign on entitled the ‘12 days of Christmas’ supporting major national charities on Falco’s LinkedIn and Twitter channels.
