08 Jan 2026 Promoting KKB’s ESG Achievements

Handmade’s sustainability team were able to gather information about Kent-based client KKB’s wide range of sustainability and social value activities carried out throughout the last 12 months to prepare its annual ESG Report.

The 28-page document outlines the enabling works contractor’s activities and achievements in the field of Environmental Social Governance which covers all aspects of sustainability from climate change to conservation, biodiversity, social value and health & safety.

Putting together the document involved a month-long period of desk research, interviews with key people at KKB responsible for operations, sustainability and health & safety and social value. This gave us a thorough understanding of the company’s commitments, endeavours and initiatives in the field of Environmental Social Governance and enabled us to copywrite draft text which was circulated to their management team for comment, feedback and approval. Following this our designer produced the layout and artwork for the document using graphs, charts, stock and in-house photography.

After sign-off Handmade devised and implemented a comms campaign to promote the Report’s publication which included a news release on the website, press release to groundworks. construction and local Kent press/media, social media posts, email to all key client contacts and 100 printed copies for general use.
