04 Aug 2025 Sustainability Webinar

Groundworks company KKB asked Handmade Marketing to create a webinar to promote its sustainability credentials for the Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) civil engineering scheme. The company, which is located on the edge of the development site for the new road crossing designed to connect Kent, Thurrock and Essex, wanted to combine details about its range of environmental initiatives into a single training video to promote its accomplishments as well as cross-fertilise innovations and ideas throughout its supply chain and beyond.
We spent 6 weeks researching the contractor’s current best practice environmental activity as well as proposed innovations and initiatives which they are planning to introduce in the near future. A storyboard and full commentary script were prepared and submitted for approval. Following this we started the process of compiling the file complete with photography and video content. Given the size of the script (over 5000 words) we opted to record a voiceover commentary which was integrated into the final mp4 file.
The 45-minute training session entitled “Enabling Sustainability – Strategies & Initiatives for the Lower Thames Crossing” covers a range of sustainability themes which are relevant to the LTC’s development from planning to materials conservation, logistics, site management, biodiversity, social value as well as the latest environmental technology which includes electric/hybrid plant, biofuels, hydrogen power and carbon capture.
